Hello Everyone,
I have started this page to let all of you know that I have been chosen to represent my school and community as a member of the Jr Congressional Youth Leadership Council in Washington, DC.
The Congressional Youth Leadership Council nominates exceptional students from around the country to attend an experiential educational program. This will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with many prominent men and women whom most of us only read about in the news.
Attending this program will enable me to further myself and reach my personal and career goals of becoming a future leader. I maintain a A & B Average and work hard in school and in my community to be the best I can.
I am asking for your support to help pay for my tuition and travel expenses to Washington, DC. My goal is to raise $3000! I am hoping that the you will consider assisting me with some of these costs. My tuition must be paid no later than May 30, 2009, as I will be attending the conference in June 2009.
